I never met Unkle Roger, but my son Aaron Christiano ( Manaia ) did and had a great deal of respect and admiration for the man. On behalf of my late son,and my self, I am greatful to a man and his mission to promote local talent and to give these kids a forum to express themselves. Thanks Unkle Roger. See you on the other side.

I remember Rog fondly. Mostly from my childhood. Suzanne (formerly Sidmore) Farley used to work @ Leighton Ave and date Walter, another CMF jock, was a tenant of my parents. Later on I met him at a Northern Star show at Art Stock's Playpen North (he was there w/Janet {from another planet}. . . He always took the time to talk and listen to what us club hoppers had to say.

WOOOHOOO...Finally the BIG weekend is here. I want to thank everyone that has helped me get to here. There are way to many to name on here. I know our Unk is proud. I am still amazed at the support I have gotten from everyone, from bands to sponsors! Jeff...I can't tell you what you mean to me. We make a good team, don't ya think!

Anxiously waiting to see everyone over the next few days. I can't help but think...Life goes by too fast, if only we had thought to have done this before Rog was so suddenly taken, but then again, he was so humble, he probably wouldn't have let us.

If you can feel my heart Rog...then you know that this is so bittersweet for me. I love and miss you more now than ever. I know you will be right there with us all this weekend as we honor you. I know your heart is at peace. Meet me on the other side my friend.
XOXOXO

I've been trying to come up with the right words to say about a man who was a pioneer in the Rochester music seen. An individual that essentially created a format for local musicians to achieve airplay and speak about the music they created. I'm not sure how it works in other cities but, what Roger was able to accomplish in his many years at CMF was amazing. The homegrown albums, the homegrown show itself!!, the live club appearances and who can forget "The all night Rock n' Roll caf'e" ? Unk touched so many, many of our lives. He had that special quality that really made you feel great about yourself & the music. He will forever remain the backbone of our local music seen. I know, I can speak for my fellow band mates when I say-we have been really looking forward to playing this tribute show in Unk's memory for months. And now the time has finally arrived. Let us celebrate his life & do him proud by putting on our best for him and his family.

Lisa you are a very good person and I am proud to have you as my friend.

The story on Rnews was great and it just showed how much people cared for Rog. It's going to be a great weekend. Seeing great bands that we haven't seen in awhile and most important keeping the memory of Unk going :)

See everyone on Friday!!!!!
